INTERIOR DESIGN
Ergonomically, one of the key interior highlights is the full-colour TFT driver information interface. Located in a dedicated binnacle directly ahead of the driver, the display is dominated by a graph type rev counter, accompanied by a digital speedometer. Also prominent is the 7-inch Display Audio interface that offers easier access to the vehicle’s infotainment features. The system offers enhanced functionality, including Apple Car Play integration, which allows seamless integration of iPhone features and functions, such as the I Device’s own GPS navigation, voice-controlled search capability and selected apps.
During highway driving the Driver Attention Monitor continually monitors and assesses driver behaviour to help determine if the driver is becoming inattentive then, if so, it uses visual, sound or even vibration to warn the driver to take a break. With dual-zone climate control, you have the freedom to adjust and control driver and passenger airflow and temperatures separately.
EXTERIOR DESIGN
The CR-V’s fluid lines were designed not only to create a sleek and dynamic look, but also to assist performance by channeling airflow which boosts fuel economy. The chrome garnish and rear skid plate provide the CR-V with an individual and purposeful look, while the curved edges of the door mirrors harmonise with the overall design, reducing blind spots. The sleek window design provides superb all-round visibility. The bumpers have been redesigned with smooth flowing finishes that never fail to draw attention to the sculpted body, creating an enhanced, bold look. Blacked-out front grille and smoked tail-lights lend the CR-V a sporty and aggressive appearance. The flagship 1.5T Exclusive has subtle exterior changes, including larger 19” alloy wheels increasing ground clearance by 6mm. This comes in addition to the extensive list of standard features. It is now further differentiated from the 1.5T Executive by the panoramic sunroof and AWD.
